Bill Greiner has been painting for more than 47 years. The last 23 years have been spent experimenting with the spontaneous effects of watercolor. Bill is most excited about the "Fire Palette" he created and has used for the last 16 years. Most recently his paintings incorporate "atmosphere," similiar to the Impressionist painters.


Bill's work has been displayed regionally and nationally. His work is in over 450 private collections and 5 national galleries. His work is in Russia, Japan, Africa and Germany. He is a prolific artist producing new works of art each month. Bill's work is currently represented by Agora Gallery in New York.


Bill is a published author. His third book; Awakening the Senses to Art and Music is an art history appreciation book published by Pearson. He has been a technical editor for DaVinci for Dummies and several other art related books. His early artwork was discussed in Marks of the Matrix.


A University Professor at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, Bill is the Chair of the Department of Art and Digital Media. He lives in Bradley, IL with his wife Kathy. Together they have four children and nine grandchildren. Bill enjoys being outside in the sun, exercising, and making art.
